The Quick-Tight Windlass Tourniquet (USA Patent #11,547,423) is designed to stop blood loss during a traumatic bleeding event. Its design features the easy-to-secure D-Clasp, allowing the tourniquet to be wrapped around the leg and secured above the wound without having to slide the tourniquet up the limb. The tightening strap is secured to the windlass at a strong single-ring point, improving the windlass's strength and the ability to stop the blood flow quickly when seconds count. There are secure grip ends on the Windlass to prevent slipping while twisting. This tourniquet can be used to stop life-threatening external bleeding from workplace injuries, recreational activities, or any situation where sudden blood loss needs to be controlled. The high-performance nylon strap stops the blood flow immediately. Instructions for proper use are included in the packaging.
