Description
Chitosan is a derivative of the shells of crustaceans and it's properties have been shown to rapidly clot blood and is hypoallergenic with natural antibacterial properties. Works independently from the body's natural healing process.
Controls moderate to severe bleeding as well as abrasions and lacerations. Single ply, hemostatic dressing is the perfect size for first aid and emergency response first aid kits. Small enough to put in pouches or pockets, the Chitosam dressing measures 4" x 4" and is packaged in a easy-to-tear open package that measures 5" x 6".
Chitosam dressings are latex free and sterile-packaged.
