ChitoSam emergency blood clotting dressing is derived from the shells of crustaceans which has proven to quickly clot blood therefore reducing blood loss. The ChitoSam blood clot dressing is a high-performing, non-woven, hemostatic dressing that quickly works to clot blood on severe wounds, lacerations and punctures. Better than similar blood clotting products because ChitoSam is made from Chitosan gauze instead of just being coated or impregnated with it. Making it more reliable and lethal bleeding stops more rapidly.
The Z fold ChitoSam dressing was created for use in the military for packing wounds. It's design allows for easier dressing of major bleeding wounds without having to use multiple hemostatic dressings. Chitosam blood control dressing measures 3" x 6' and is sterile wrapped.
