Celox first aid granules is a hemostatic agent that stops bleeding from cuts, abrasions and lacerations fast. It contains Chitosan, which is derived from shrimp shells, that significantly and quickly stop bleeding from minor first aid wounds.
This single-use packet of Celox is easy to use. Just wipe away excess blood or dirt, tear-open the packet and pour enough granules to cover the wound. Cover with gauze or bandage and apply pressure. Once bleeding has stop the Celox granules can easily be removed with saline or water.
